STEPHANIE - HYGIENIST
Stephanie brings more than 21 years of experience in the dental field, with a career rooted in patient education and whole-body wellness. She began her journey as a dental assistant on Oahu, where she discovered a passion for dentistry and patient-centered care.
After returning to San Diego, Stephanie became a Registered Dental Assistant and expanded her impact by teaching dental assisting while completing her dental hygiene education. Education, mentorship, and patient understanding have consistently guided her professional path.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has remained committed to helping patients understand the vital connection between oral health and overall well-being, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
Outside of dentistry, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her twin sister, nephews, and brother-in-law. She is also passionate about dentistry, baseball, and health and fitness.
SARAH - HYGIENIST
Sarah has been in the dental field for over 20 years, beginning her career as a part-time dental assistant while in high school and throughout college. During that time, she discovered her true passion for dentistry and pursued her goal of becoming a dental hygienist.
She attended Western Career College’s Dental Hygiene Program in Sacramento, California, where she earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010. Sarah is deeply passionate about her role as a dental hygienist and is committed to providing exceptional care while helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and informed.
Dedicated to the dental healthcare profession, Sarah takes pride in ensuring every patient leaves the office feeling cared for and loving their smile.
CATHERINE – EFDA
Catherine has loved dentistry from the very beginning and has proudly worked as a dental professional for the past 14 years. In 2024, she earned her Extended Function Registered Dental Assistant (EFDA) license from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, allowing her to further support both her patients and the dental team with advanced clinical care.
A San Diego native, Catherine is passionate about serving her local community and works alongside Dr. Maysam at Kind Dental of La Mesa. She is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, understood, and confident throughout their dental experience.
Outside of the office, Catherine enjoys exploring her favorite local spots, spending time with her family, and keeping up with her energetic Belgian Malinois. She looks forward to helping every patient maintain a healthy, bright smile.
RENISHA - RDA
Renisha has 11 years of experience as a dental assistant and is passionate about creating a comfortable, supportive experience for every patient. She takes pride in building genuine connections and helping patients feel at ease while rediscovering confidence in their smiles.
Renisha loves being part of a team that helps people love their smiles again and believes compassion and trust are key to positive dental visits.
Outside of the office, Renisha enjoys spending time with her two children and cheering them on at baseball, softball, and soccer games.
CAITLYN - FRONT OFFICE
Caitlyn brings 14 years of experience in the dental field and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and patient-focused experience from the moment patients walk through the door. She attended dental assisting school to gain a deeper understanding of dental procedures, allowing her to clearly explain treatment, insurance, and next steps while supporting the entire dental team.
Caitlyn loves getting to know patients on a personal level during check-in and believes strong relationships are the foundation of trust and comfort in dental care. With expertise in insurance coordination and front-office systems, she helps ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
Outside of the office, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her three children, visiting Disneyland, and cheering them on at lacrosse, football, and cheer events.
CASSIE - FRONT OFFICE / DA
Cassie began her career in dentistry three years ago, inspired by her mother, who is a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions. From the start, Cassie developed a passion for helping patients feel confident in their smiles and comfortable throughout their dental experience.
Working in both the front and back office, Cassie enjoys supporting patients and the dental team wherever needed. She values creating positive connections and takes pride in helping people feel at ease and informed during their visits.
Outside of the office, Cassie enjoys reading and spending quality time with friends and family. She looks forward to continuing to grow in dentistry while helping patients build confident, healthy smiles.
